Hardanger is a county inN orway, (E urope), by the way one of the most beautiful spots in the scenic Norway. It is the women of this place that are the originators of this handsome art work, and it has gained for them a renown that has spread all over Europe and I confidently believe it to be only a matter of a short time, before it will be known in every art loving home in A merica. The embroidery is both durable and beautiful, and not so very difficult to learn for an earnest worker, so for these reasons, it will and must become popular.
